Course Objectives:
This course aims to improve the
reseach skills of the senior students who are required to form a
research group, choose a research topic depending on their areas
of interest, do an empirical research and prepare a term project
in the end of the semester.
Structure:
The teaching structure and
methods will be used in this course include research, tutorials
and
oral presentations.
Schedule:
There are no specified weekly
teaching schedule for this course. Depending on the students'
and instructor's time table for the semester, weekly tutoring
sessions are determined.
Course Requirements:
- Attendance:
Students are expected to attend tutorials regularly. The
absence rate should not be more than 25% as regulated by the
university.
- Deadlines:
Students are required to pay attention to the deadlines
provided in the course syllabus to complete their projects
properly. When the required task is not completed on time,
there are penalties. Penalties: Submission on the following
Monday after the deadline means 1 point loss, submission for
each day later than Monday after the determined deadline means
2 points for each day.

Written Project, Defense
and Poster Presentation: Students will prepare a term project and
orally defend it in the end of the semester. In addition
to these, students are required to prepare a poster
presentation. All
students will be equally responsible from their project.
Students are required to submit parts of their project on
specified deadlines indicated on the course syllabus
throughout the semester.
